Designer: Carmen Marc Valvo
Hair Look: School Girl Meets Country/Americana
Hairstylist: Ted Gibson
Sunday afternoon’s Carmen Marc Valvo show at fall 2015 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week featured the beauty and ease of textured, unwashed hair, a huge trend for the upcoming season, says lead stylist, Ted Gibson. Inspired by Valvo’s collection of plaids, furs and pleats, which speaks to the cool, downtown chick with a fresh and effortless look, Gibson also combines a messy ‘school girl’ twist with a ‘60s boost of volume to create a style ideal for lived-in hair.
To achieve this New York Fashion Week fall 2015 style at home, Gibson says it’s a must to start with strands that are healthy and strong. That’s why he turns to secret weapon Viviscal, remarkable for nourishing damaged, dull hair while making it a breeze to style his clients for runway shows and red carpet events.
Viviscal Extra Strength works to give thinning, dry and dull hair a much-needed oomph of volume. Not only does Viviscal improve the appearance of the hair, making it look healthier, but the density of each strand is thicker and fuller.
