For vitamins and supplements, I recommend Viviscal Professional. For drugs and other treatments, I recommend Rogaine, Spironolactone or PRP injections.

For male patients who are looking to prevent hair loss, I recommend Viviscal Professional, Rogaine or Propecia.

4. How do the hair and skin concerns of your female and male patients change as they age?
Basically, their hair concerns increase with age and with the dropout of hair follicles. Their skin concerns also increase with age and they seek anti-aging therapies.
5. What criteria do you look for when evaluating a new hair loss treatment for your patients?
I look at the variation in hair thickness, the pattern of hair loss, and the rate of continued hair loss. I also ask about their family history of hair loss.
