How it Works
For the very best results when it comes to anti-aging, creams alone are not enough to penetrate deep enough into the dermis where the aging process predominately occurs. The sophisticated combination of ingredients in Vivida® supplements feed the skin from within reducing the signs of aging.
• Marine extract: helps to improve the structure and quality of the skin’s supportive tissue and provides nourishment to aid the renewal process.
• Natural silica: promotes skin elasticity and moisture levels and helps the regeneration of skin cells.
• Vitamin C: essential in the formation of collagen, which is a primary structural compound in the skin.
• Anti-oxidants: protect against free radicals and ensure strong and flexible cellular tissue.
The Vivida® supplement formula has uniquely been combined with the powerful anti-oxidant astaxanthin to improve visible signs of premature aging and general skin health by increasing the skin’s ability to resist the environmental stripping of skin nutrients. Astaxanthin is ten times more capable than other carotenoids which act as anti-oxidants.
Skin - The Facts
Traditional skincare targets the epidermis, but research shows the aging process occurs long before it shows up on the surface. What you see in the mirror is a result of aging within the deeper layer of skin you can't see, the dermis.
Vivida improves your skin with an innovative method targeting more than the result of aging seen at the surface level to target the root cause. Improvement of the dermis layer with Vivida targets where aging actually happens - resulting in the visible improvements you're looking for - healthy, firm, beautiful skin.
The skin is composed mainly of three layers; epidermis, dermis and hypodermis.

Epidermis
The epidermis is the outermost layer of the skin; it forms the waterproof, protective wrap over the body's surface and is where new skin cells are manufactured. The epidermis contains no blood vessels, and cells in the deepest layers are nourished by diffusion from blood capillaries extending to the upper layers of the dermis.
Dermis
The dermis is the layer of skin beneath the epidermis that consists of connective tissue and cushions the body from stress and strain. It contains the hair follicles, sweat glands, sebaceous glands, apocrine glands, lymphatic vessels and blood vessels. The blood vessels in the dermis provide nourishment and waste removal from its own cells as well as from the Stratum basale of the epidermis. The dermis is also the layer that contains collagen and elastin fibres – the two components that diminish as we age.
Hypodermis
The hypodermis is not part of the skin, and lies below the dermis. Its purpose is to attach the skin to underlying bone and muscle as well as supplying it with blood vessels and nerves. It consists of loose connective tissue and elastin. Fat serves as padding and insulation for the body.
