Moisture for Sensitive Hair and Scalp

No matter the season, your hair and scalp need the right balance of moisture to create the ideal environment for healthy hair growth.
Although washing hair too often can strip it of natural oils, washing too little is not good for the scalp. Moisturize the scalp and hair with a moisturizing conditioner containing ingredients derived from natural sources. Massage the conditioner into your dry scalp with your fingers to invigorate and moisturize the scalp. If you are concerned about washing hair too often, moisturize the scalp without making hair greasy by occasionally skipping the shampoo before conditioner. Simply rinse hair with lukewarm water and then add a nourishing conditioner to moisturize dry scalp.
To moisturize naturally curly relaxed hair, use a rinse-out conditioner, a deep conditioner (which should be left on the hair at least 15-20 minutes), or a dry conditioner to leave on overnight and wash out in the morning. When considering a hair and scalp moisturizer for relaxed hair, consider your hair’s unique needs. Experiment with hair conditioners and moisturizing products to determine how long to leave products on your hair depending on your hair type and its level of dryness. Always try to use products that have ingredients derived from natural sources to minimize the effects of harsh chemicals and ingredients on sensitive, dry scalp.
